Where there is love, there is hope.

Where there is hope, there is faith.

Where there is love, hope and faith,

Miracles can occur!

Don't take your organs to Heaven,

Heaven Knows we need them here.

Brad, Ashley's big brother.  Brad is a great big brother but is worried about Ashley.  As a matter of fact, he says that his greatest fear is attending his sister's funeral.

Brad is 2 years older than Ashley and celebrates his birthday in June.  He plays baseball and his favorite teams are the Red Sox and the Braves. He is a straight A gifted student who excels in Math and Spelling, among other things.  He takes Karate and plays the guitar.

His aspirations are to 1)make straight A's from now until high school graduation.  2) Get his pilots license 3) Obtain a college scholarship. 4) Go the Naval Academy and major in Aerospace Engineering  5)Fly Navy jets off aircraft carriers.  Sorry girls no marriage plans at this moment but give him time he is only 10 years old.

Joey, Ashley's Daddy.  Joey is a great daddy and when the time comes, if needed, he will donate a portion of his liver to Ashley.  Ashley adores her daddy so much so that she works hard  to please him.  Joey loves to read books with Ashley and help her put nail art on her toe nails and finger nails after she gets her nails painted; sometimes daddies are better at things then mommies.

Joey is an Engineer for the U.S. Department of Defense more specifically the U.S. Navy.  He has been with the government for 20 years.  He grew up in Alabama and has two younger sisters, Laura and Sherry.  Joey loves to work out at the gym and being an assistant coach to Brad's baseball team.

Laurie, Ashley's mom.  Laurie is the one that designed this website along with many others.  She tries hard to bring money in to help the family's financial needs through website design.  Laurie has found that as Ashley's disease progresses, it's impossible to work outside the home.  Not only does Laurie manage Brad's and Ashley's busy schedule; she also volunteers for a couple nonprofit organizations.

Laurie manages the Children's Liver Association for Support Service's website and is their online Community Forum Administrator.  She also designed and managed the Stenstrom Elementary PTA's website. Laurie lives for her children and can't imagine her life any other way!

Skylar, the family cat. Skylar is a little RagaMuffin.  He brings so much joy to the house and Ashley's loves him to pieces.  Although Skylar seems to prefer Laurie, he will sleep under Ashley's bed during the day.  Skylar's name was picked out by Ashley after a heated argument with her brother on what to name a boy kitty. Skylar's favorite things to do are to sit out on the covered lanai and watch the doves and squirrels eat out of the bird feeder and to taunt Sarge into playing with him only to run and hide under the bed.

Sarge, the family dog.  Sarge is a Golden Retriever/Husky mix that fell in love with Brad and Ashley, so he instantly became a part of the family.  He is a good dog and provides companionship to both Brad and Ashley.  Sarge's favorite things to do are to eat Milk Bones after he fulfills various commands to sit, speak, down, beg, etc.  He also loves to play fetch with Brad out in the backyard, or is it "catch me if  you can."  Sarge also loves to greet Joey at the door when he comes home from work.  A Man's Best Friend!

Ashley also has many extended family members.  Her cousins Heather, Marisa, Christopher, Nicholas, DJ, Austin, Parke, Tatianna and Joyce. Her Aunts and Uncles, Terri and Gene; Renee and Aldon; Laura and Park; Sherry and Kraig and Nichole. Ashley's Grammie and Mamaw are her biggest fans.  With her two biggest fans in Heaven, Grandpa Collett and Papa Johansen.
